Adhyayan Sanstha used to conduct many different workshop series to support science in schools. Looking at the success of SMIP, we designed School Science Improvement Program (SSIP). As mentioned earlier, students could not inquire as they never experienced investigatory / heuristic approach. They faced difficulties in translating graphs, developing graphs correcting & developing own logic and could not apply previous knowledge to learn further.
During the covid years we designed SSIP. To disseminate the idea on a larger scale through intervention programs, we had to chunk down our program of SSIP as most schools were already our partner in SMIP. Time did not permit and hence one topic per year was the idea we had to follow. All other procedures are as discussed earlier in SMIP.
